This AAT Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping is an ideal qualification that has been designed for those with an existing understanding of bookkeeping who wish to develop their bookkeeping or finance career. During your studies, you’ll learn about the tax processes for organisations and the principles of payroll. You will also expand your knowledge of how to prepare financial statements, use advanced double-entry bookkeeping, produce financial statements for sole traders and partnerships, and prepare accounting records. You will need to complete your AAT exams to complete and achieve your qualification. You can choose to add your AAT exams to your enrolment. If you do not add your exams to your enrolment, you will be responsible for booking and paying for your exams.

Duration study load
This course takes approximately 210 hours to complete. You will have up to 1 year (12 months) from your enrolment date to complete your course, allowing you to work at your own pace.

Assessment
This course will be assessed by 6 tutor-marked assessments and 3 AAT computer-based exams. The exams are completed online at an external test centre. If you add on your exams, these will be booked for you by us, however, if you choose not to add these on, you are responsible for booking and paying for this yourself.
The 6 tutor-marked assessments provide complete flexibility and the opportunity to progress more quickly if desired. Your tutor will help you to decide when you are ready to take the AAT exams.
Delivery
Once you enrol, you will receive all course materials by post and receive full tutor support for a year by email. Once you have registered with AAT you will also have online access to online resources and additional support materials, including sample assessments.
