Course overview
For many organisations, digital transformation has always been a primary priority, and Covid-19 has only expanded this need. The following are the primary issues that today’s enterprises face:
- How to use digital technologies to transform their current business model?
- How should they interact with those technologies and attract new customers?
- How to digitally/virtually manage a dislocated workforce?
This BSc (Hons) Digital Business Management programme is designed to equip you with the necessary skills to address these issues.

Response to Covid-19: Our focus is on providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for our students. As part of our response to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, we are planning to deliver this course through a mix of live online classes and face-to-face learning opportunities at our London Holborn, Birmingham and Manchester Centres. What you'll learn
This BSc (Hons) Digital Business Management will not only provide you with a thorough understanding of business and management, but it will also help you build the skills and knowledge required in the context of digital business and digital transformation.
For example, whereas a Business and Management degree would focus on management theory, this degree will apply it to the management and motivation of virtual teams.
You will also learn how to identify and manage digital transformation projects, as well as the impact of digital technology on how companies engage with their consumers and supply chains.
Additionally, you will get access to an optional module called “Preparing for Employment,” which will teach you how to:
- Will favourably communicate your business readiness in a CV, LinkedIn profile, and during the hiring process.
- Conduct a reflective skills audit to determine the abilities required in a given business sector of your choice.

Entry requirements
General entry requirements:
- 96 UCAS points, or equivalent. (Missing UCAS points? You can apply for the four-year version of this programme)
- GCSE Maths at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent. This can be exempted by successfully passing the QA Higher Education Maths test (score 8 out of 15)
English requirements: GCSE English at grade C/4 or equivalent. Applicants can sit the QA Higher Education English test, where 60% is required.
Please note: We are not currently able to sponsor international students to study this programme at University of Roehampton Centres therefore if you require sponsorship to study as an international student, this course will be unavailable to you.

Assessment
Assessed through a combination of coursework and presentations: including blogs, reports, presentations, annotated CVs, projects, conference papers, academic posters, research proposals and a dissertation.
Delivery
The programme is to be delivered in blended mode (which means that up to 50% out of the classroom will be delivered digitally).

Blended working is now a permanent feature for many businesses globally and the experience you will gain by studying through a blended learning model will help you prepare for this, building your confidence ready for success in the digital workplace.
The number of live contact hours that you have with your lecturers remains the same
- You will have timetabled sessions delivered face-to-face on-campus, building relationships and engaging with your student community
- You will have timetabled live online sessions that will allow you to participate and ask questions throughout the session
- Support services can be accessed remotely and your campus is open so you can book in and use campus facilities and services face-to-face at a time that works for you, either on your timetabled on-campus days or outside these times
Our blended approach offers the best of both live online and on-campus learning opportunities, and your blended timetables will typically follow one of the below:
Daytime students
If you are a daytime student, you will typically have 2 days of tuition per week – your sessions will be on-campus for 1 of those days and the other day will take place live online.
Evening and weekend students
Evening and weekend blended timetables will typically follow one of the below patterns each week:
- 2 evenings live online and 1 weekend day face-to-face on-campus, or
- 2 evenings face-to-face on-campus and 1 weekend day live online

About University of Roehampton Centres
The University has a student population of over 10,000 students who represent 140 nationalities across the globe, resulting in a diverse and lively student environment on campus.
The Pathway College is in partnership between the University or Roehampton and QA Higher Education. The programmes are validated by the University and taught by QA Higher Education. The courses are designed to prepare students for the seamless transition on to an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
