The BA (Hons) Business Management with Foundation Year aims to fuse academic business with theory with industry application, enhancing your employability and career prospects. You will explore specialist theory and knowledge in a systematic and critical way in order to develop your understanding of contemporary international business and enterprise sector issues.
This course is delivered as part of a partnership between QA Higher Education and Solent University. The programme is validated by the University and delivered by QA Higher Education.

As part of our response to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic we are planning to deliver this course through a mix of live online classes and face-to-face learning opportunities at our London, Birmingham and Manchester Centres, continuing to follow Government guidance and any social distancing measures that may be in place. As restrictions ease, face-to-face opportunities will be increased where appropriate and it is safe to do so.

Entry requirements
Academic requirements
- 48 UCAS points
- A minimum of two completed A-levels, a BTEC Extended Diploma at PPP or BTEC Diploma at MP or equivalent
- GCSE Mathematics at Grade 4 or above (previously Grade C). Alternatively, applicants can sit QA Higher Education Maths test
- We will consider mature students who haven’t recently undertaken a formalised course of study at A-level or equivalent, but who can demonstrate relevant workplace or voluntary experience, indicating their ability to complete the course successfully
English language requirements
- GCSE English at Grade 4 or above (previously Grade C)
- IELTS 5.5 with no component less than 5.0 in each band, or equivalent. (Alternatively, applicants can sit the QA Higher Education English test)
Assessment
Assessments are based on coursework, presentations, business simulation and exams.
