Course overview
There are many forms of disability and mental health issues that can affect people at work – some obvious, others subtle or hidden. Organisations have legal and moral responsibilities to provide support and promote opportunities but many people with disabilities and mental health challenges still experience barriers, a lack of understanding and even discrimination.
This course will examine the experiences and challenges of people with disabilities and mental health issues at work, the reasonable adjustments that can be made and the practical steps that everyone can take to promote a supportive and understanding environment.
