Formerly known as the Internal Verifier Award (D34) or the V1, this qualification is for people who verify the work of other assessors and want to become an internal quality assurer. Assessment activities may include sampling, observations, and standardised meetings, and the theory part of the course can be studied online. Upon completion of the course, you will be fully qualified to monitor the decisions of assessors and thus improve standards within an organisation.

Entry requirements
You need to have been assessing for 6 months and you need to hold either a CAVA or an A1 qualification to enrol on this course.

Assessment
Each unit is followed by a written tutor-marked assignment (TMA), which is submitted and then marked by your tutor. You will not be required to take an external exam, however, you will need to provide evidence of monitoring a minimum of two assessors, each with a minimum of two learners, through components of a qualification. Your tutor will provide further guidance on this.
Delivery
Throughout this course, you may be expected to complete assignments, essays, research projects, posters, leaflets, presentations, PowerPoint presentations, video/audio recordings, work-based and practical learning sessions to meet the requirements of your course. This information will be included in your study pack detailing exactly what you need to do to accomplish your goals as a student.
