Course overview
The Microsoft Certified Associate is a new breed of Microsoft certification. It is referred to as a ‘role-based certification’. According to Microsoft, role-based certifications show that individuals that possess them are keeping pace with today’s technical roles and requirements. They allow a learner to upskill and prove their expertise to employers and peers, plus get the recognition and opportunities they’ve earned.
Upon completion of this course, you’ll receive one Microsoft 365 Fundamentals ‘Acclaim’ badge and two Microsoft 365 Associate ‘Acclaim’ badges that you can add to your CV or social media profile for prospective employers to see. You’ll also receive three Microsoft certifications (1 x Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, and 2 x Microsoft 365 Associate certifications).

Duration study load
This is dependent on several factors such as your level of experience of the subject matter, the amount of time you can dedicate to the course each week, and how quickly you absorb information. Learners can finish a single course from anywhere between 1-3 months. You will have full access to the resources for 12 months and must take your exams within this period.

After working your way through each course, you should be ready to start revising for your official exams. To do this, we provide you with MeasureUP practice tests. MeasureUP is the official provider to Microsoft for practice tests. These are the closest experience to the actual exam you’ll be taking. As part of this course, we will also provide you with exam prep textbooks for each certification exam (excluding the MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals)
Official Microsoft Exams
Having confidently passed the practice tests, you will be ready to sit the official Microsoft exams – which we will book on your behalf. These are known as an ‘online, web-proctored exams’. This means they can be taken at home. One of the requirements for taking these exams is that you must have a web camera so a proctor can observe you during the exams. This is to ensure no cheating takes place.
