Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course, meaning prior qualifications are not necessary, and individuals of all ability levels are welcome. Participants must be at least 16 years old to attend.
Candidates should have a basic command of English (equivalent to Level 2).

Assessment
- A closed-book multiple-choice exam
- A short workplace risk-assessment project (deadline confirmed in your joining instructions)
The pass marks required for IOSH Managing Safely are as follows:
- Multiple choice exam pass mark – 36 out of 60
- Practical risk assessment – 23 out of 38
If you don’t pass on your first attempt, you are entitled to a free resit.
Certification
This course is approved by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). On successful completion, you will receive a physical certificate.
