The qualification assessment process for the NEBOSH Fire involves two steps:
- The first step is an open-book examination, which you can complete at home or in a suitable and distraction-free environment. You will receive a realistic workplace scenario and be required to complete tasks using the provided evidence and your acquired knowledge within 24 hours, although it should take around 4-5 hours.
- The second step is a practical fire risk assessment based on standards like the Home Office fire guidance and PAS79-1:2020. While there is no time limit, it’s recommended to spend about three hours to ensure a thorough and high-quality assessment comprising four parts.
Both assessments will be evaluated by an external NEBOSH-appointed examiner chosen for their industry expertise and experience, ensuring learners are assessed by top professionals.
