Entry requirements
No previous HR experience is required. You should be comfortable reading and writing in English, and have access to a laptop or computer with internet access.
If English is not your first language, the following are recommended (though not mandatory):

Learning Outcomes: (1) Understand the business environment in which the people profession operates, including the key issues that affect it, (2) Understand how people’s behaviour in the workplace affects and shapes culture, (3) Understand the importance of effective management of change
This unit introduces the use of data and evidence to inform HR decision-making and improve working practices. It covers how people professionals apply both straightforward and more complex analytical thinking to create value within organisations.
Learning Outcomes: (1) Understand how evidence-based practice informs organisational measures and outcomes, (2) Explain the different types of data measurements that professionals use, (3) Know how creating value benefits employees, customers, and wider stakeholders
This unit focuses on the professional values, ethical standards, and behaviours expected of those working in HR and L&D. It examines how consistent professional conduct promotes inclusivity, respect, and integrity across a range of workplace situations.
Learning Outcomes: (1) Understand insightful approaches to supporting and maintaining ethics and professional practice, (2) Be able to promote respect and inclusive working, underpinned by professional courage and a passion for learning, (3) Demonstrate proactive approaches to developing, recording, and reflecting on your professional knowledge, skills, and experience
This unit covers the core functions of people practice, from the full employee lifecycle through to the policies, regulations, and legislation that govern employment. It explores key HR disciplines including recruitment, talent management, reward, and learning and development, giving learners the applied skills to work confidently in a people practice setting.
