Assessment
CMI qualifications do not require individuals to take any official exams. However, a series of assignments must be completed and assessed by CMI-qualified Tutors before a qualification can be awarded. These assignments are research-based and have specific requirements, including font size and structure, as well as word limits that vary depending on the award, certificate, diploma, or extended diploma, and the level of the qualification.
You will need to complete a combination to a minimum of 37 credits (370 TQT hours) to achieve this qualification. There is a barred combination of units – learners taking 502 cannot select 503, 505, or 511, and learners taking 526 cannot select 501 or 502.

ELCAS (Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service) Funding
The Ministry of Defence’s Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) is an initiative to create lifelong learning amongst ex and current serving members of the Armed Forces.
The scheme provides financial support across a maximum of three separate financial years used to enhance their career and job prospects when they leave or have left the Military.
This funding can only be used to fund regulated qualifications above Level 3 and must be delivered by an ELCAS approved provider.
