Every day we hear about security breaches and the havoc on companies and individuals privacy, making network security and security solutions a crucial part of every single business. With such a vast amount of data and cyber risk, it’s no surprise that more and more jobs are becoming available every day – and it’s an industry that’s only going to grow. Working in cyber security means a lifetime of learning and growing, and even better, a lifetime of employment.
3. There are lots of courses that can get you qualified
IT security courses are readily available at a number of institutions, from London to Inverness and beyond. There are short courses designed for professional development or to let you dip your toes into the security issues of today or more extensive courses that will get you qualified to start work as soon as you finish the course. Cyber security training can teach you about common programs and common problems, like Microsoft and trojan viruses, as well as more uncommon security issues that may be specific to the industry you’re interested in like risk management or security architecture., and some will give you cyber essentials to get you started.
