Assessment
CompTIA Server+ is assessed and awarded by means of an examination. This exam comprises of a maximum of 90 questions. Your exam will be 90 minutes long, and you will be required to score 750 (on a scale of 100 to 900) or higher in order to pass.

Subjects
In this objective, you will be given the opportunity to install physical hardware, deploy & manage storage, and perform server hardware maintenance. This section will make up 18% of your final certification exam.
This learning objective (which makes up 30% of your final certification exam) will allow you to install server operating systems, configure servers to use network infrastructure services, configure and maintain server functions and features, as well as learn more about virtualisation, server administration, asset management & documentation, and licensing concepts.
Learn more about data security concepts, physical security concepts, identity & access management for server administration, data security risks, and mitigation strategies. You will also be given the opportunity to apply server hardening methods, work through server decommissioning concepts, and learn about the importance of backups, restores, and disaster recovery. This knowledge will make up 24% of your final examination.
In this learning objective (which comprises 28% of your final exam), you will be equipped with troubleshooting theory and methodology, common hardware failures, and troubleshooting:
