Our Level 4: Export Controls Award builds on the knowledge base built in the Level 3: Export Controls Award, to embed a higher level of export controls capability within your team.
It is particularly relevant for the defence and aerospace sectors, where stringent regulations apply, as well as government bodies and consultancies involved in trade compliance.

Duration study load
- 60 hours over 8 – 12 months (average per student, exact time may vary)
All six modules and the assessment must be taken within two years to complete this qualification.
However, students are likely to finish within eight – 12 months, depending on their availability to attend the live online training sessions for each module.
Entry requirements
- No formal qualifications are required for this course.
- All candidates must be 16 years or older to be considered for direct entry to the award.
Assessment
Students will need to complete an assessment module and pass a formal assessment submission in order to be awarded the L4 qualification.
