Entry requirements
Although there are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, it is recommended that:
- Learners have English and Maths skills equivalent to Level 2 (GCSE) before they begin studying at this qualification level
Assessment
To achieve the certificate, Learners are required to successfully complete two assessments by examination.
- Paper 1 is a closed book and assessment is by multi-choice questions. The pass mark is 28 marks out of 40 and the examination duration is 2 hours (120 minutes)
- Paper 2 is an open book and assessment questions relate a case studies which are pre-published in the qualification specification. The pass mark is 30 marks out of 60 and the examination duration is 2 hours and 15 minutes (135 minutes)
