Why study an AAT course?

AAT qualifications are widely recognised and respected by employers worldwide, with qualified members being welcomed into companies and organisations as renowned as P&G, Morgan Stanley, Sainsbury’s and the Ministry of Defence. Interestingly, 80% of the FTSE 100 companies now employ AAT apprentices within their finance function. There is little doubt that doing an AAT course stands you in good stead where professional success is concerned.

AAT courses also provide an excellent, debt-free alternative to university education. Because the courses are tailored to every applicant’s specific needs, those studying towards AAT qualifications are offered considerably more freedom to pursue other goals and tend to all their commitments. If you’re someone who would like to be able to work full-time and study at the same time, AAT courses can comfortably provide that opportunity.

What jobs can I do?

Given that AAT qualifications demonstrate a high level of industry excellence and work-readiness popular amongst all employers, jobs in accounting and bookkeeping become much more accessible. Examples of jobs offered by the AAT route are:

  • Accounts Officer
  • Finance Officer
  • Bookkeeper
  • Accounts Manager
