How do I get Microsoft certified?

There are many different types of Microsoft certifications spanning a range of subject areas. Some are more entry-level than others. Broadly speaking, Microsoft certifications cover things like Microsoft Office, databases, software development, IT administration, and technician skills. To get certified typically involves three simple steps:

1. Take the course you wish to specialise in – which you can enrol in through a reputable course provider.
2. Prep for the final certification exam/s by taking a practice test.
3. Sit the final Microsoft certification exam. In most cases, this can be done either at home or your local testing centre.
